Vertical Imagery
SportsMapping aerial photographers provide the highest quality vertical and oblique photography
in color, black and white and Color Infrared (CIR) for anywhere in the United States and the
world.
SportsMapping full service in-house photographic laboratory produces 9'X 9' contact prints,
film diapositives and enlargements used in a wide variety of mapping applications.
The SportsMapping digital department utilizes two Vexcel HT-4000 photogrammetric film scanners
for producing high resolution digital images up to 3400 dpi and digital display enlargements up
to 60'' X 120''.
Oblique Photography
Oblique photography, normally produced by rotating the plane and camera at approximately
45 degrees to show the horizon in the background, yields a unique perspective of the project
area. High resolution digital scans and display enlargements are utilized for broad-base
planning by engineers, architects and real estate planners.
Photographic Enlargements
The SportsMapping photographic specialists can enlarge your aerial photography up to 12 times
photographically on our 10" x 10" Durst Laborator enlarger. Final enlargements
can be produced in our in-house photographic laboratory up to 40" x 70".
Digital prints from aerial film can be generated up to 60" x 120" on our HP-5000
inkjet plotter. Your specific project area can be scanned at 3400 dpi to yield high resolution
enlargements up to 15 times the original photo scale.
All 9" x 9" color and b/w contact prints are generated with LogEtronics Aerial Film Printers.
Multiple dodging controls are used to ensure maximum detail across the entire negative or
positive transparency.
